What is Firewall?

To Understand firewall in real terms, just by the word you can understand that it is a protection, technically speaking the real meaning of firewall is it can be either a software or hardware which is designed to shortlist all the network traffic across all types of networks and internet. Firewall is often used on all networks, which is connected to internet. Nowadays, it’s a must for everyone accessing internet to have a firewall in place in order to prevent virus attacks.

Why do we require a firewall?

Previously, people used to think firewall in different ways, but after the invention of firewall most of the people relate firewall to a component in the network which saves from virus attacks. As in common a Real time firewall and a component firewall does the same kind of activity in their respective domains.

6. Protect your valuable data and confidential data, this is the most important factor why there should be a firewall on each network irrespective of the fact, whether it is a small network or big network.

By Protecting your network, it allows your network to function without any stop, just imagine if you have a network of 1000 systems and your business relies heavily on systems to function daily suddenly a virus attacked your 1000 systems. What will happen to you, Loss of work, Loss of time, Loss of profits to your business?
