To prevent these diseases one should take nutritious foods, physically active
and avoiding smoking can prevent this diseases. What is

as diabetes, cancer and cardiovascular
disease (primarily heart disease and stroke). These diseases are common
and healthy problems in U.S. How common are these conditions in USA
Chronic
diseases are major health diseases in U.S. About 90 millions Americans are affected
by this diseases. These diseases per year in Usa affect 35 million people.
Diabetes mellitus-
Diabetes is a chronic disease. These diseases are caused by
disorder of carbohydrate, protein and fat metabolism. They are two types type 1
and type 2. 14 million people Americans have diabetes or about 5%of the
American populations are affected by these diseases. Causes and Symptoms-
Diabetes is cause by genetic factor. Starvation, obese, feeling tired, excessive thirst, excessive hunger, and weight loss are the common symptoms
of diabetes.
Diagnosis-
Diabetes can be diagnosis based on symptoms. Its can be
diagnosed by urine and blood tests.
Treatment-
Currently there is
no cure for diabetes. But its can be cure by taking carbohydrate, fat and
protein in right proportion and doing exercise.
In diabetes
patients, to find fasting glucose level one should take oral glucose tolerance
test. In type1 diabetes they lack insulin but in type 2 diabetes they produce
enough insulin.
