Spinal Cord Conditions
We
all have to thank god and nature for making such a wonderful structure of back
bones which protects so nicely the spinal cord.
I’m
now going to discuss about the spine conditions there are five types of spinal
condition can happen in our back
- Degnerative
Disc
- Bulging Disc
- Hemiated Disc
- Thinning Disc
- Normal Disc
The Lower back is constructed well and the vertebral column is really a
stack of not more than 30 bones can be called as vertebrae. These vertebrae
create a bony canal, which surrounds and protect your spinal cord. Types of Back Pain
Back pain can be classified
into three
- Acute
back pain
- Chronic Back pain
- Neuropathetic pain
Axial
or Acute Pain This is a common type
of pain it will last for atleast 3 to 6
months. If the pain persists for longer period then its is
dangerous and can convert that pain to
chronic pain problems. You have to eradicated that back pain in the starting
stage.
Chronic Pain
Two different types of chronic pain
problems
- chronic pain due to an identifiable pain generator
- chronic pain with no identifiable pain generator
This type of pain stays beyond the point of tissue
healing and there is no clearly identifiable pain generator that explains the
pain. It is often termed “chronic benign pain”.
Neuropathetic Pain
Neuropathic pain (also called nerve pain or neuropathy) is very unlike from
pain created by an underlying injury. While it is not totally understood, it is
thought that injury to the sensory or motor nerves in the peripheral nervous
system can potentially cause neuropathy. Neuropathic pain could be placed in
the chronic pain category but it has a different feel then chronic pain of a
musculoskeletal nature.
